In conversation with Gaius Gana

One thing you need to know about Gaius is that he is resourceful. Before this conversation could happen, it took 60 days. I had messaged Gaius on the 6th of February, asking if I could speak with him about his craft. With conflicting schedules, it was almost impossible to agree on a date. But that changed on the 4th of April.

It was a mutual friend’s birthday, and he had invited us to lunch. Gaius reached out to confirm if I’d be coming, and when I affirmed, he suggested we get there earlier and have the conversation before lunch—killing two birds with a stone.

In like manner, he’s using music and film to tell stories that shape the world we live in.
